Your new best friend is waiting for you!

Sighthounds are a distinct group of dog breeds that are built to hunt by sight and speed rather than scent. This makes them particularly vulnerable to misuse and abuse.

At Sighthound Rescue South Africa (SRSA), we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming sighthounds across South Africa.

As a registered NPO, we have successfully saved hundreds of dogs and matched them with their perfect families.

Greyhounds, Whippets, Italian Greyhounds, Lurchers etc. make incredible family pets and companions. Despite their speed, they love to sleep and cuddle. They are affectionately known as "40-mph couch potatoes."

Ready to add a sighthound to your family? It'll be one of the best decisions you ever make. Just ask any of our adopters.
